Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan is the richest CM and the richest parliamentarian among all the members of four provincial assemblies.
The statements of assets of the members of provincial assemblies for the financial year ending June 30, 2018, revealed that Mahmood Khan owns assets worth Rs2.37 billion. The agricultural property he owns is worth Rs2.33bn and the money kept in its two bank accounts are Rs41.5 million. Gold owned by Khan is 35 tolas but owns no car.
The second in line following Mahmood Khan is the Awami National Party’s Bahadar Khan owning assets worth Rs882.88m. The properties he owns is worth Rs875.50m.
PTI legislator from PK-21 (Buner) Syed Fakhar Jehan owns assets worth Rs776m and worth Rs766.80m. He is the owner of shops, agricultural and non-agricultural land.
PPP lawmaker from PK-87 (Bannu) Sher Azam Khan owns assets worth Rs646.81m. He owns properties worth Rs530m and has over Rs93.60m cash in hand and banks.
PTI MPA from PK-05 (Swat) Fazal Hakim Khan owns assets worth Rs528.58m. He owns two commercial buildings worth Rs455m.
PTI lawmaker from PK-19 (Malakand) Musawar Khan owns assets worth Rs486.30m. He owns residential, commercial and agricultural properties worth Rs385m.
