Saudi Arabia has announced to hire female investigators in the Kingdom, according to the reports by local media.
The Saudi Public Prosecution announced on Sunday that the applications for the job for women will be accepted until March 3, a report by Al Arabiya said.
The applicants should be qualified for the position and with a university degree in a relevant field. To prove their fitness for the position, the candidates should also pass aptitude tests and physical exams, Attorney-General Sheikh Saud Al-Mojeb said.
After getting hired, the female investigators would have to take up many specialized roles including testifying in courts, criminal investigations, in addition to some other executive roles, Attorney-General said.
As part of new reforms in the kingdom, the Saudi authorities had also allowed women to witness football match by getting into the grounds.
In the food industry, Saudi Arabia has also plan to hire women in restaurants, which would be a step forward in reforming the labor market and empowering women economically.
