After Punjab, Sindh, and the capital territory of Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also launches its first information technology board to equip its talent with the latest innovations. The big step is an effort of the Chief Minister of KPK, Pervez Khattak.
KPK is a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf majority province. The political party is on the verge to make the province one of the top regions of Pakistan. Initially, they focused on education as this was a mandatory step to help the people move with a faster pace. And now their recent move would do more good.
The launch of the information technology board in KPK was a big achievement right from the beginning as officials from the World Bank (WB), Ministry of Health, UNDP, USAID, USID, and GIZ participated the inaugural ceremony of the IT board.
In the recent past, the young talent of Pakistan successfully made huge steps when they first launch their startup ventures with the support of ITBs in Karachi and Lahore. Taking an advantage of the same, the Chief Minister of KPK also established the ITB in KPK.
We are adapting innovative technologies coupled with pro investment policy and clear cut targets and still, we are leaning behind other countries. This cannot be our destination. However, right approach and flawless planning would take us forward to fulfill our targets
Technology is fast growing everywhere. And Pakistan couldn’t afford to stay in dark. The province has a talent not much appreciated first. However, this small step by the government of KPK could be seen as an idea to change people’s perception about the region.
We will never beg others but we will work ourselves. When we have the resources, then we do not need to look at others for loans. Our development efforts entice the investors to come forward and invest in this province
Pervez Khattak said at the ceremony held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
