The people of Pakistan are observing Kashmir Solidarity Day today (Tuesday) to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir who are struggling for their rights and self-determination.
This year, the Kashmir Day is being observed in Pakistan and other parts of the world at the same time after the brutal killings and use of armed forces to kill innocents in occupied Kashmir have reached a new level of oppression.

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi would highlight the Kashmir issue during his address at ‘Kashmir Conference’ which is being organized at the House of Commons in United Kingdom’s capital London.
The main purpose to observe the Kashmir Day is to draw the attention of the whole world on Kashmir issue and urge to play its role to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Unite Nations resolutions.
The people of Kashmir living in Azad Kashmir—which is the part of Pakistan—as well as other parts of the world are also observing the Kashmir Day with the renewed pledge to continue their efforts and movements for freedom till they achieve their right to self-determination.
