Karakoram Highway To Remain Close For 5 Days

Construction is going on in Barsin area of Upper Kohistan on the Dasu Hydropower Project. Due to this construction Karakoram Highway would partly remain close for the next five days for vehicles. Traffic would need to  find alternate routes or adjust its timings.

Timing of closure of KKH for next five days:

5am to 8am every morning

Advice by police:

Tourists and native travellers postpone or restrict your travel this week. During the closure timing and especially during night avoid travelling till construction is done.

Restore of traffic:

Traffic would get on routine from June 18th that would be Sunday.
