Karachi’s Temperature Expected to Drop Down to 6 Degrees this Week


Earlier today, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasted that the temperature in Karachi is expected to drop down to 6 degrees Celsius in the forthcoming week.

According to the reports, the port city will experience chilly winds and a drop in the temperature most likely on Sunday and Monday. Moreover, numerous areas in Sindh will experience dry and cold weather along with fog in the coming week.

This Sunday, the metropolitan city recorded 9 degrees with 63% humidity in the air.

Furthermore, the cold weather is expected to intensify even more in several areas of Pakistan with mercury crossing the freezing point in Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.

Today, Astore reported -12 degrees, Quetta reported -4 degrees, Skardu recorded -14 degrees, whereas Gilgit and Hunza reported 8 degrees.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Meteorological Department also predicted that there are chances of the reappearance of Fog in different parts of Punjab. Therefore, all people are advised to avoid unnecessary traveling through roads.
