Wasim Akhtar—the Mayor of Karachi has made Mustafa Kamal—the Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman as the Project Director Garbage on a voluntary basis with immediate effect.
As per a notification issued from the Mayor’s office Kamal has displayed his willingness for cleaning the Karachi city within 90 days of time.
The notification further read that the Mayor of Karachi has designated Syed Mustafa Kamal as the Project Director Garbage on a voluntary basis with immediate effect until further notice.
On Sunday, Kamal said that he would clean Karachi in 90 days if the city and provincial government gave him machinery and their employees.
He further added to hang him on chowk if he fails in doing so.
In a press conference earlier week, the ex-city city Mayor had said that Akhtar was responsible for the city destruction.
Kamal had claimed that he has got properties in Pakistan and abroad. He also said that he just wants to complete his term and run away.
Mustafa Kamal had said that the local government was 100percent responsible for the cleaning of the city drains.
