The Karachi Development Authority is planning to launch 4 new housing schemes for the city.
Dr Badar Jamil Mandhro—the director general of the authority said that the KDA would officially announce the schemes in the week to come. A notification regarding them has already been issued by the local government secretary.
These housing schemes are being formed for the lower-income populations and would be introduced in Federal B. Area Block 1, KDA Scheme 1, Surjani Town and Korangi.
Advertisements would also be published in newspapers about these schemes.
These housing schemes have got both flats and plots measuring 80 square yards, 200 square yards, 240 square yards and 120 square yards.
This would be the first housing scheme introduced by KDA in the span of 20 years. The last scheme introduced by the authority was in 1999 near Five Star Chowrangi, North Nazimabad.
