Karachi to Experience Severe Cold Spell Until Jan 18

The cold spell in Karachi would linger on until the 18th of January. The westerly weather system has brought in drizzle in the city and the cloudy weather has moved out, as per the reports of local media.

The meteorological Department has mentioned in a report that a severe cold wave would be beginning from today and would most probably be continuing on until the 18th of this month.

The least temperature in the city could go down to 3 degree Celsius during the week, as per the report of the weather department.

Various parts of the city received light drizzle alongwith windy and cloudy weather.

As per the weather report, the extensive rain is anticipated in the province of KP, upper and central Punjab, in Gilgit Baltistan and in Kashmir today while at different widespread places in the Northwestern Baluchistan and South Punjab.

Snowfall is also anticipated in the upper regions of the province of KP, Kashmir and in Gilgit Baltistan.

In the province of Sindh rain in anticipated to fall at different isolated locations like Tharparkar and Mithi districts, while cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in Sindh.
