It is predicted by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) that Karachi may experience a mild heatwave after May 17. It is expected that the temperature will range from 39 to 41 degrees Celsius, as per the Met Department.
PMD predicted that the temperature can go up to 38 degrees Celsius in Karachi during the day. 58% humidity is to be recorded in the air this afternoon.
From 5th to 8th May, Karachi experienced its first heatwave of 2020. Hot and dry weather is expected continue in most parts of Pakistan during the next twenty-four hours.
Also, rain with wind and thunderstorm is expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
The temperature of Islamabad was sixteen-degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-two, Peshawar twenty, Karachi twenty-nine, Quetta eleven, Gilgit thirteen, Muzaffarabad eighteen and Murree fifteen degree centigrade on Saturday morning.
