Karachi to experience a new system of Monsoon Rain from the 20th of July


On Monday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted that Karachi is going to experience another spell of the monsoon rains from the 20th of July.

Sardar Sarfaraz Director Met said that the megacity will have light to moderate rainfall activities for the whole week. Moreover, he also forecasted intermittent showers in Karachi today.

In different areas of Karachi, there was light rain for a short time on Monday, but the weather turned pleasant in the city.

Although in some parts of the city, a rainstorm was also reported. The areas included; North Nazimabad, Shahra-e-Faisal, Sachal Goth, Baldia Town, Safooran Goth, Malir, PECHS Society, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Bhittabad, Khudadad colony, and Gulshan-e-Ghazi.

In the morning around 7:00 am, the temperature recorded in the port city was thirty-one degrees centigrade.

Today, the winds in Karachi are blowing at twenty-eight kilometer per hour and the humidity recorded is forty percent.

The temperature of some other cities of Pakistan was also recorded in the morning according to which; Lahore had twenty-six degrees centigrade, Peshawar twenty-eight, Islamabad twenty-five, Gilgit twenty, Muzaffarabad twenty-two, Murree seventeen and Quetta had Twenty-four degrees.
