Major General Asif Ghafoor—Director General Inter Service Public Relations (DGISPR) appreciated the sacrifices made by the security forces and the civil administration for the betterment of the law and order situation in Karachi owing to which the ranking of the city of lights has improved on the world crime index.
On Twitter, the DG ISPR shared the ranking of Karachi on the world crime index from the year 2012 to present.
He said that Karachi was at one point in time that is in 2014 was on the 6th position in the World Crime Index. But today it is on the 70th position with many cities of the first world following it. He added that all the credit goes to the civil administration and the security forces, especially the Sindh Rangers and police, intelligence and also to the citizens of Karachi.

He assured of more stability in future.
The comparison shared displays a big achievement as Karachi stood at the number 6th rank in 2012 which slowly turned better after years, finally making it to the 70th spot on the crime index.
He thanked Allah Almighty and lauded the Karachi-ites for their perseverance.
