Karachi Officially Introduces A Price List App for Daily Use Items

Good news for the Karachiites, now they could look up for the official prices of the various daily use items including fruits, poultry, vegetables and meat via an app. They could also do online grocery before actually purchasing the commodities. The city administration has introduced an android app—Karachi Price List for the Karachi residents.

The application is available on Google’s Play Store and could be downloaded easily.

Iftikhar Ali Shallwani—the Commissioner of Karachi said that the citizens could now also launch their complaints against the increased prices via the application. The app is proficient with Urdu, English and Sindhi languages.

He claimed that the Karachi administration was actively busy in controlling the prices throughout the city.

He added that all deputy commissioners have been asked to take effective reforms for properly introducing the app among the public so that citizens could take maximum benefit of the application.

The commissioner informed that the city administration has also asked to make sure that the price lists are properly displayed in shops and other outlets.

He assured of immediate action against the lodged complaints.

He also said that the prices of bakery items, fruits, meat, poultry, vegetables, and grocery would be updated on a daily basis for the ease of the people using the app.
