Junaid Jamshed Mosque Opened in Karachi

A mosque in Karachi has been built in the memory of the late-singer-turned-preacher—Junaid Jamshed. The newly built mosque was opened for public on Wednesday.

Junaid Jamshed holds a special place in the hearts of people, his tragic and unpredictable death left everybody dumbfounded and left a space that could not be filled for a long time.

The mosque is located at Singer Chowrangi at J. Unit 2. The mosque interiors are an amazing combination of modern architect and Islamic culture, making the mosque an attractive sight to look at.

Junaid Jamshed was the lead singer of his famous Pakistani band—Vital Signs. He was popular for his humanity, everyone loved and praised him. He was at the peak of his career when he decided to turn to religion.

In an exclusive interview with a local newspaper he mentioned the reason that what made him to turn to religion, he said that he saw Muslims across the world suffering in one or the other form and this kept playing on his mind.

At that point, he started meeting with religious scholars and looking around for the reasons that led to the decline of Ummah. He added that he thought that we are living in a selfish world where we just think about our own selves and have no care for anyone else, all of this created an effect.

JJ undoubtedly has left a desirable legacy behind. His work continues to inspire others and his message of love and kindness is still out there.
