January to be the Coldest Month of Winter: Met Dept

Dr. Khalid Malik, the spokesperson of the Pakistan Meteorological Department has said on Sunday that January would be the coldest month of the current winter season.
As per the shared details, during the month, the temperature would decrease in the plain areas whereas more snowfall would be anticipated in the northern hilly areas.
He also said that it would be adding intensity of the fog during late night and in the early hours of the morning in the plain areas of Pakistan which includes Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
On the other hand, the schools reopening schedule has been announced. The schools would be partially opened from the 11th of January across Pakistan.
