Italy announces to invest 40 million euros for the youth development in Pakistan

Stefano Pontecorvo—Italian Ambassador to Pakistan on Sunday said that the Italian government had planned to invest 40 million euros in Pakistan.

As per the details, the government of Italy will invest the money in Pakistan for the development of youth across Pakistan.

The Italian ambassador was attending the inauguration ceremony in relation to a week-long Program for Poverty Reduction (PPR) in collaboration with the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.

“Sixty-five percent of the population of Pakistan is under 35 and there is immense potential among them. The government of Italy hopes to invest more in the youth development policies to empower the future of Pakistan,” the Italian ambassador, during the ceremony, said.

According to the details, the training sessions were conducted especially for the communities based in Balochistan, KP, including the region formerly known as FATA, to uplift the socio-economic conditions.
