Earlier today, the IIUI (International Islamic University Islamabad) has declared a five months extension in the deadline of the projects to the final year students.
An official notification has been released by the Academic Council of the university in this regard according to which all the students of the final year have been provided with a relaxation of five months as the coronavirus pandemic had already hindered the academic process in the whole country.
After hearing this announcement, the final year students of BS, MS, and Ph.D. have got relieved. The students said that they were unable to complete their projects and research work due to many issues like; lack of laptops or mobile phones and poor internet connections in remote areas.
In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, all educational institutions were shut down and shifted towards the online sessions. Islamic University also shifted the academic process online. But, the university failed to carry out research projects online.
Now when the global academic outlook is changing, the university is surveying different forms of research.
