Islamabad Police to take Over the Safe City Project

The Islamabad Police is to take over the safe city project for removing all the flaws and errors keeping in consideration the gap analysis and the necessary documentation.

On Wednesday, a meeting was held for discussing the different affairs linked to the safe city project including the transfer of the project to Islamabad police.

The meeting was led by Sarfaraz Ahmed Falki—the Director-General of Safe City project and was attended by its Project Director and other stakeholders.

The project is being managed initially by the MS Huawei and National Database Registration Authority—NADRA which would be transferred to the Islamabad Police once the flaws are removed.

Safaraz Ahmed Falki—the DG Safe City Project said that the police of the federal capital would ensure that the project gets much more improvement. The meeting participants gave their opinion for improving this project and it was decided to manage its affairs more effectively.
