An 8-member trade Iranian delegation showed interest to boost the trade relations with the business community of Pakistan.
The delegation from Iran led by the Managing Director of Milad-e-Noor company—Ali Mohtassham Amiri, held the meetings with the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry President—Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan in his office in Karachi on Saturday.
While speaking on the occasion, Ali Mohtasshem Amiri said that they want to make the trade relations better with Pakistan as there is potential for making Pakistan and Iran powerful business partners, as per the reports of local media.
Previously on the 10th of November, the Pakistan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group had asked the need for making the bilateral trade ties better to this end might be removed with mutual consensus.
The urge was expressed at the delegation-level talks in Tehran held between the two nations.
The Iranian Group was headed by Ahmed Amirabad as well as the Trade Minister of Iran—Reza Rehman while the Pakistan Group was led by Syed Naveed Qamar.
They were of the opinion that being the neighbouring nations, both the nations had larger chances for trade and commerce which would benefit the two nations and Pakistan could export rice, vegetable, fruits and meat to Iran.
