Spain struggled in the last FIFA World Cup 2018 game against Iran yesterday; a lucky deflection secured their 1—0 win eventually.
Iran was not expected to defend so well against one of the world’s popular team Spain; yesterday they get head-to-head in a group game where they gave extremely hard time to score.
Spain didn’t find it difficult to score against Portugal in an earlier game which as an equalizer 3—3 draw. Scoring 3 goals were easier for them as compared to scoring 1 goal against Iran which was not a goal technically as per the commentator and other spectators, Iranian defender was hitting the ball out of their goal area which unfortunately hit the right leg of Diego Costa and bounced back straight into the goal.
This was the clear demonstration of Iranian bad luck throughout the game, although the country has scored an equalizer on a free kick which was ruled out due to an offside.
Iranian strikers crossed Spanish defenders when the ball was kicked with only a foot of difference.
Eventually, the disallowed goal relieved Spain from their migraine which was about to come back after the equalizer. Iran defended really well but it proved to be an unlucky day for Iran.
