While rejected the request to issue the red warrants of the former finance minister Ishaq Dar, the Interpol issued a clean chit to him.
As per the details, Pakistan’s Federal Ministry for Interior had earlier pleaded the Interpol to issue the red arrest warrants against the leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) who is facing corruption cases in Pakistan.
The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) had accepted the evidence submitted by the former finance minister after the request was made by Islamabad.
In his evidence, the former minister claimed that some elements and the current government of Pakistan were subjecting him to political revenge.
The Interpol General Secretariat, however, decided that the matter in a session of the Commission for the Control of Files.
The Interpol further informed all its National Central Bureaus to delete all the data files in their system against the former minister Ishaq Dar, issuing him a clean chit that he wasn’t subject to an Interpol Red Notice.
