Internet services are down in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and Twitterati believes that it can be because of the Azadi March.

A user in reply to Gharidah’s tweet tweeted
” Islamabad is facing some issues regarding internet services. And I think it’s due to the #AzadiMarch . Also, it might get worse once it reaches the Capital.”
Another user asked, “Kindly inform why is internet services jammed in Islamabad G9 area.”
” After media blackout no internet service in Islamabad and rwp but I think now it’s to late let’s see how people of Pindi and Islamabad are going to welcome maulana.”
In order to stop people from streaming about the Azadi March on social media, internet services have been partially suspended.
The rumor is that on the directives issued by the Punjab government, cellular services have been partially shut down in the twin cities.
PTA spokesperson claims that due to security concerns and the safety of citizens the internet services have been disrupted.
