A verdict of the case related to an Indian spy, Kulbhushan Jadhav, will be delivered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) today.
A legal team form Pakistani side headed by the attorney general has reached The Hague to hear the verdict. As per the media reports, the Pakistani team also includes the spokesperson of the Foreign Office Dr Muhammad Faisal.
According to the details, the verdict by the ICJ will be announced at 3:00 pm, according to Netherlands time when it will be 6:00 pm in Pakistan.
Kulbhushan Jadhav—an Indian spy who is currently in Pakistan’s custody—has been accused of espionage charges which are punishable by death under the Pakistani law.
On 5th of February, the Pakistani authorities have released a fact sheet just before the hearing of the case in at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and presented all the evidence obtained from the Indian spy after the arrest.
The law enforcement agencies of Pakistan detained an on-duty RAW agent on March 24, 2016, from the area of Balochistan. The suspect was said to be an officer on the Indian Navy, working for the covert agency and involved in the terror activities to destabilize Pakistan.
