Papers of intermediate board scheduled on the 2nd of May 2018 have been postponed to 17th May 2018 owing to Shab-e-Baraat, as informed by a notification that was issued on Saturday.
As per the notification issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, the Accounting Paper-II of Commerce (Regular and Private) and the Physics paper-II of Science (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and Science General) papers scheduled on the 2nd of May earlier would now be taken on the 17th of May.
The Physics Paper-II would be taken on May 17 from 9:30 am to 12:30 am, whereas, the Accounting Paper-II would be taken in the afternoon of 17th May from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The Business Mathematics Paper-I (Failures), which was originally to be taken on the 17th of May has been postponed to 18th May, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The examination centres would remain the same as were originally informed to the students.
The holy occasion of Shab-e-Baraat would be observed with respect and religious enthusiasm throughout the country on the night between the 1st and 2nd of May.
Shab-e-Baraat also known as the Night of Records or Nisfy Shaban. It is a celebration of forgiveness by Muslims. It is observed on the 15th of Shaban—the ninth Islamic month as per the Islamic calendar.
The month of Shaban itself has got a lot of importance in many ways majorly because just after it is the holy month of Ramazan which is observed throughout the Muslim world with enthusiasm and spirit.
