The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan has issued new SOPs for international passengers, and this would remain in effect until the 31st of December 2020.
Under the new SOPs, the government has abolished the need of having a vacant seat. Passengers would be needed to install the Pass Track App. This application could be downloaded easily from the Apple and the Google Play Store.

Under the newly issued protocols, children who are 12 years or younger than that, the disabled passengers, and high-international delegations referred by the Foreign Affairs Ministry would be exempted from the aforementioned requirement.
Moreover, nations have now been classified into the A and B categories. Under this arrangement, the international passengers from Category A nations would not be required to provide a coronavirus test before travelling. But, the nations which are in category B, travelers coming from them would be required to provide a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test and that also not older than 96 hours before they take the flight to Pakistan.
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority added that the countries categorization should be subjected to the fortnightly review by the National Health Services, Regulation, and Coordination Ministry based on the objective health assessment.
