The Information Ministry has decided to counter the fake news circulating on the social networking site.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has created a fresh Twitter account to expose the fake news with the title of ‘FakeNewsBusterMoIB’ (@FakeNews_Buster).
The account was created on 1 October 2018, and in a just single day, it gains 20K plus followers.
The official Twitter account of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had tweeted about this recently created account and urged the people to follow it and help the government to expose and counter the fake news.

The Twitter account has been created over the instructions by the Federal Minister for Information, Fawad Hussain Chaudhry to point out the false and fake information/news on the social media.
With the help of this account, the information ministry will not just share the false or fake news/post with its followers, but it will also share the detail of the users who are sharing the false news and urged the authorities to take actions against them.
