Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood on Tuesday said that the industries that are being set up in Gwadar under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will boost the export volume of Pakistan.
He said that due to exports-led growth strategy, the rupee value is stable and export is enhancing. The economy of the country is going on the right path due to the prudent policies of the government
Razak Dawood while addressing an event ‘Dialogue on Industrial Cooperation under CPEC and SEZs Framework’, organized by the Board of Investment said, “Our strategy for the future of Pakistan is being prepared considering China Pakistan Economic Corridor and Special Economic Zones being developed under CPEC.”
On another note, it is important to mention here that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will start flights between Quetta and Gwadar by the end of March. It has been decided by PIA that it will start flights twice a week between Quetta and Gwadar starting from 31st March. Every week, the flights will operate on Tuesday and Thursday from Quetta to Gwadar at 12:00 pm. Also on same days flights will take off to Quetta from Gwadar at 2:45 pm.
Also, the Gwadar airport administration has begun arrangements for the flight operation. In a statement, PIA said that as flights between Quetta and Gwadar will resume it will promote tourism and trade activities. Presently, there is no flight operating from Quetta to other cities of Balochistan.

This step has been taken after the international arrival and departure sections of the Quetta airport were inaugurated by the Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal and Federal Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan.
