According to the report, orders have been issued to investigate the incident. This aircraft was used as a trainer aircraft. A search operation is being conducted to find the other pilot of the plane. The pilot is being searched by air and water operations in the Arabia Sea.
According to the Indian Navy statement, the MiG-29 was stationed at INS Vikramaditya. A few days ago, when the Indian Navy conducted a Malabar exercise, MiG 29 also took part in it. It may be recalled that in February this year, a MiG jet of the Indian Navy crashed in Goa. There, too, the MiG-29 was on a routine flight, although no pilot was harmed.
