Indian hackers targeted the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday, as a result of which the site was blocked in the United Kingdom, Netherland and other European nations.

The Foreign Office gave confirmation of the Indian cyber-attack. A spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that India is targeting Pakistan via different means, but, this approach of Indian hackers would also be made unsuccessful.

The spokesman maintained that the Indian hackers were continuously attacking the website. He added that for half an hour website went down in many nations, after which they started to act. He said that they had expected this attack, as they know India is under panic and would do something of the sort.

He further said that the website has started to get back and be completely restored soon.

He added that the attacks were an attempt of the Indian hackers to stop the right information.

The FO spokesperson said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website is the main source of official information which includes authentic news regarding matters like the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince and the news of Kashmir. He added that journalists and analysts anywhere in the world could access this information from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As per the diplomatic sources, the Indians are horrified from Kulbhushan Jadhav case and the negotiations between Pakistan and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), thus are making crazy attempts for diverting attention.
