Islamabad Administration launched ‘Capital Smart City’ and ‘ICT Administration’ apps to provide the people with convenience. However, later on, it was revealed that these apps are not working properly.
A correspondent tried to pay a yearly tax for a car and found out that these services were not working. They only had basic info like tax rates of various cars, office locations, etc, as reported by ProPakistani.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat was contacted by The Nation. He unveiled that in order to stop the hackers from collecting the data, these apps and services have been jammed. Furthermore, he said that the authorities are working to deal with this issue and it will be resolved soon hopefully.
These apps were recently launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Khan claimed that these apps will prove to be innovative for Islamabad people. Also, they will be soon replicated for the rest of the country.
