The Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the neighboring country India wanted to destabilize Pakistan by sponsoring terrorism and intervening in one of the four provinces of Pakistan, Balochistan.
The federal minister, during a talk show on a Pakistani news channel, said that India is consistently intervening in Balochistan with an aim to destabilize the country.
While talking about the Monday’s attack, he said that terrorists who attacked the building of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in Karachi wanted to hold people hostage. However, the terrorist attack on the PSX’s building had been foiled by the country’s law enforcement agencies, he said.
Qureshi said that India is also affecting the ongoing peace efforts in Afghanistan. “I have apprised the special envoy of the United States (US) Zalmay Khalilzad regarding the nefarious designs of India,” he added.
In order to divert the attention of the public from its internal crisis, the Modi-led fascist government of India is sponsoring terrorism attacks, Qureshi said, adding that India had also staged a drama called ‘Pulwama Attack’ to divert the attention of the world from the atrocities in the India occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOK).
On the other hand, a day earlier, while addressing the session of the Lower House of the Parliament, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan has no doubts that the terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in Karachi on Monday morning was orchestrated in India.
