PSL 2018, the big event Pakistanis are waiting for is already in the news with a new team added to the list and matches locations being announced that might be held in Lahore and Karachi.
Now we have another news related to PSL 2018. The big tournament will be broadcasted in India as its rights are acquired by DSport, a channel associated with the Discovery. Therefore for the very first time in PSL history, Indians will be able to watch PSL.
Before this cricket fans had to stream PSL matches on the internet to watch them as there was no other way.
Now as Indian fans will be able to watch PSL 2018 the viewership and ratings of the whole tournament will increase tremendously. As the viewership will increase it will promote Pakistan cricket and quite obviously have a positive impact on advertisement industry of Pakistan.
The third season of PSL will start in February 2018. Six teams will participate in the league with Multan Sultans the recent and newest addition.
Chairman PCB Najam Sethi revealed that out of four matches of PSL that will be played in Pakistan, two will be in Karachi.

Few changes in PSL 2018 will be Waqar Younis replacing Wasim Akram as fast bowling coach for Islamabad United, Karachi Kings have brought in Chris Gayle into the team and Shahid Afridi has joined the team as player president, Sohail Tanveer is a new entry in Lahore Qalandar, Waseem Akram has joined Multan Sultans as cricket operations director while Tom Moody will be the head coach. So with some alterations, new players, expansion in broadcast, we are all desperately waiting for PSL 2018 to begin.
