An Indian actress Shilpa Shinde revealed that she has been receiving death and rape threats from the extremists groups in India for supporting Pakistani actors and Navjot Singh Sidhu over his statement on the Pulwama attack that killed more than 40 Indian soldiers in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Shilpa, who is also a politician, said that she didn’t find anything wrong in the statement issued by the Indian politician Sidhu. Shilpa Shinde said that she is going to take action against the people who are threatening her online.
While answering the Indian media after the Pulwama attack in occupied Kashmir, Navjot Singh Sidhu said, “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It [Pulwama attack] is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished.”
According to the information about Pulwama attack, more than 40 Indian troops were killed in the Pulwama district of Indian Occupied Kashmir on 14 February.
The statement issued by Sidhu was not well received by Indians and he was also fired from The Kapil Sharma Show. The Indian authorities have also banned Sidhu from entering Mumbai’s Filmcity.
