India is about to see the new OPPO A54 and OPPO A74 5G this month

India is soon to receive two new A-series smartphones – the OPPO A74 5G and the A54. These two smartphones are expected to reach the country in the next week. Since only a few days are left behind, we should move on to explaining a bit about the two smartphones so you may plan ahead and so those sitting outside the county.

About OPPO A74 5G and OPPO A54

Both of these OPPO smartphones have already reached some countries. The A54 is expected to come on April 19th in India, while the A74 5G will premiere on April 20th.

Let’s first start with the OPPO A54.

OPPO A54

The OPPO A54 will come with a 6.51″ display with an HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels), a 60Hz refresh rate panel, an 89.2% screen-to-body ratio a hole punch for the front camera. Fair display features, right?

There would be a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support under the hood. We are unsure if the phone would come with the same RAM and storage option as it came for the rest of the world.

Coming to the camera, the rear side is equipped with a triple-camera setup with a 13MP primary camera sensor, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP bokeh lens. At the front, there is a 16MP camera sensor.

Other prominent features include the phone runs on Android 10-based Color OS 7.2 out of the box, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI Face unlocks, and an IPX4 waterproof certification for splash resistance.

OPPO A74 5G

The OPPO A74 5G has a 6.5″Full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate support – this is all we know about the display.

The phone will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

According to the source, the variant coming to India will have a triple-camera setup on the back with a 48MP primary camera and two 2MP depth sensors. At the front, there will be an 8MP camera.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box. This phone will be available in three colourways – Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black.
