The sensible quarters in India have received the PM Khan’s address warmly, which he did to the nation on Wednesday. In the address, PM of Pakistan offered India to come to the dialogue table and denounce war, as per media reports.
Sagarika Ghose—a journalist, author and an editor at the Time of India, referred to the address of PM Khan as “excellent” and “Statesmanlike”.
A Professor of UNESCO Chair—Ashok Swain in a tweet praised the PM’s speech and added that this is how a leader needs to behave and further wrote that “NOT like a Modi”.
He also showed his joy over how Pakistan was treating the prisoner of war the Wing Commander—Abhinandan, who had been caught by the Pakistan Army earlier on Wednesday as he entered into the territory of Pakistan.
He further said that Pakistan was gaining on the war of perception at international forums.
Ram Subramanian—a filmmaker applauded Prime Minister of Pakistan by saying that his gesture of giving an invite to India to the dialogue table had earned PM Pakistan more fans in Indian than even he had during his cricket days.
Sanjukta Basu—a writer and photographer also criticized the Indian PM—Narendra Modi by saying that he only had a chance for another term if only he could bring back the captured pilot.
