Imran Khan’s Oath Taking Ceremony to be held at D-Chowk on 11th August

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem ul Haque tweeted that Imran Khan wishes to take oath as Prime Minister of Pakistan where thousands of people can watch him, probably D-Chowk on 11th August.

Naeem ul Haque tweeted, “IK would prefer a People’s ceremony of oath taking where thousands can watch him take the oath as PM of Pakistan. Perhaps D Chowk area may be the right place to do it. Let’s hope so. Will keep on updating on this.”

Initially, Haque also revealed while talking to the media outside Bani Gala that Imran’s oath-taking ceremony will be held before 14th August. Later Imran Khan announced that he will take oath as Prime minister of Pakistan on 11th August.

PTI chief also said, “I have also decided about chief minister of KP which I will announce in the next 48 hours. Whatever I have decided in this regard is in the best interest of people.”

Furthermore, PTI is eyeing to form the government in Punjabb . Fawad Chaudhry PTI spokesperson said, “The party has the numbers to form the provincial government.”

PTI leader Mian Aslam Iqbal also confirmed that Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will join PTI to form the government in Punjab. Also a few independent candidates have already joined PTI. This has strengthened PTI’s position in Punjab in comparison to PMLN’s position.

Election Commission of Pakistan revealed all the results a couple of days back according to which PML-N emerged the largest party with 127 seats while PTI received 123 seats.
