Imran Khan’s Disqualification Petition Hearing on March 11th

A petition hearing for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s disqualification will be held on March 11th.  The disqualification hearing is on the basis of Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
The appeal claims that Imran Khan had not revealed the Tyrian Jade Khan White’s  alleged parentage in his nomination papers for 2018 elections.  

Tyrian is the daughter of Sita White who was the daughter of Lord Gordon White. It is claimed that Tyrian is Imran Khan’s daughter.

The petition read, “Imran Khan did not mention White as one of his dependents in his nomination papers, and thus he does not measure up to Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.”.

Articles 62 and 63 basically is a condition asking a parliament member to be  “Sadiq and Ameen” that is honest and righteous.

The demand by the petitioner is to disqualify the PM Imran Khan.

A similar petition was thrown out by Islamabad Court on January 21st stating that the petition is non-maintainable as it involves personal matters.
