Imran Khan has won all 5 of his National Assembly Seats creating history yet again since the 1992 World Cup.
Imran Khan’s first seat was in NA-35 Bannu. Here Imran Khan contested against Akram Khan Durrani. The results show that Imran Khan won 113822 votes while Durrani received 106820 votes.
Second seat Imran Khan contested was on NA-53 Islamabad against Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. As per unofficial reports, Imran Khan won the seat with 92891 votes while former PM and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi could only manage 44,314 votes.
The third seat Imran Khan contested on and won was in NA-95 Mianwali. He fought against PML-N candidate Obaidullah Khan Shadikhel and won it. Imran Khan won with 162499 votes while PML-N candidate Obaidullah Khan could only manage 49,505 votes.
The most nail-biting contest was in NA-131 Lahore between Imran Khan and PML-N candidate Khwaja Saad Rafique and here too Imran Khan won despite all odds. As per unofficial results being announced by tv channels Imran Khan got 84,313 votes in the constituency against Saad Rafique’s 83,633 votes. The total number of registered voters in the constituency were 364,213 that included 165,514 female voters.
In Karachi Imran Khan has won the NA-243 seat against MQM-P Syed Ali Raza Abidi. Imran Khan won the seat with 91358 votes while Raza Abidi could manage 24082 votes.
