As per the Prime Minister’s promise to take strict action against the sugar mafia is going to be fulfilled anytime soon, says Shibli Faraz Federal Minister for Information.
The information minister tweeted on Sunday saying that PM Khan is going to hold a meeting today at Bani Gala and the decision will be announced at a press conference after the meeting.
A high-level meeting will be held today by Prime Minister Imran Khan in order to take action against those who are actually responsible for the sugar crises in Pakistan.
The decision will be taken over the registered cases against those who have been found guilty in the involvement in the sugar crises all over Pakistan.
Sources say that it is expected that the government will make a big decision over those responsible for the crises.
The decision taken in the meeting will be announced by Shahzad Akbar Adviser to PM on Accountability.
He also held a press conference on May 30th for the ongoing sugar corruption inquires against the leadership of PMLN.
The sugar inquiry commission report was released making some shocking revelations.
According to Akbar, the PMLN is trying to read and understand the inquiry report or they do not want to understand it due to evident reasons.
He further added that the PMLN wanted to misguide the nation over the sugar inquiry commission report.
Shahzad Akbar says that the former PM of Pakistan has been consistently lying on the matter.
the inquiry commission affixed the responsibility of corruption on betting agents working in collaboration with the sugar mills in Pakistan.
CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah was also called upon by the commission, but he did not show up.
