Dr Saleh Bin Muhammad Al Talib—Imam-e-Kaaba (the grandest of all Mosque of Muslims in Makkah) would be leading the Maghrib and Isha prayers in the Faisal Mosque—Islamabad on Sunday.
A larger number of people would be availing the chance to offer prayers behind him and would likely show up during the prayer time.
As per a press release of Public Relations—International Islamic University, the Imam would be visiting the Faisal mosque campus of the university and would attend a seminar on the “Promotion and Publication of Moderation in light of Quran and Sunnah; The role of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan”. Imam-e-Kaaba would be attending the seminar as the chief guest.
Imam-e-Kaaba earlier on Saturday met with the Chief Minister of Punjab—Shahbaz Sharif to discuss topics of mutual interest.
He said that his visit to Pakistan is something of greater pleasure for him and that the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia possess strong relationships of love and religion which is above every other relation. He added that the strength of Pakistan is the strength of Saudi Arab and the power of Saudi Arab is the power of Pakistan.
He also said that Pakistan has an important place in the Muslim world and is playing a key role in making peace and stability in the region.
Imam-e-Kaaba mentioned that because of these reasons the Kingdom stands with Pakistan in this regard and supports its peace efforts.
He added that the entire Muslim Ummah is aware of the brethren ties the two countries share and that both the nations have supported each other during the crisis.
He mentioned that the strength of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia strengthens the whole Muslim Ummah.
