ICCI has demanded the formation of new rent control laws for the traders of Islamabad.
Under the presidentship of Shehzad Shabbir Abbasi, a delegation of the Traders Welfare Association paid a visit to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and discussed the matters of common interest.
While talking to the delegation the president of ICCI—Ahmed Hassan Moughal said that Asad Umar—the Finance Minister during his election campaign gave assurance to the traders of federal capital that if he and his party wins the elections, he would try for a declaration of a new rent control law in Islamabad during the initial hundred days of his government.
He asked the finance minister to give honour to his made commitment, as owing to the lack of proper rent laws, disagreements and forced expulsions of traders from shops were high.
