Hyundai Nishat has changed the launch date of the Hyundai Tucson. Earlier on, Hyundai sent invites to join the virtual event of the car launch on August 10th. This can be seen in the subsequent picture.
However, their Facebook post says otherwise. On the Facebook post, it is said that the 3rd gen facelift Tucson will launch through the first virtual car launch event of Pakistan on August 11, 2020, at 7:30 pm.
The SUV was first unveiled at the Pakistan International Auto Show 2020. Since then there has been numerous speculations regarding its launch date.
The announcement for the car launching on August 11 was made by the company via a social media post. Hyundai Tucson will directly compete with Kia Sportage. Both the vehicles have same 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder, 16 valve motor equipped with valve timing technology. It has the ability to put out 155 horsepower and 190 newton/meters of torque.
Tucson will be offered in 4 variants. 2 of the variants will have Front-Wheel-Drive (FWD) equipped with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The second variant would have Hyundai’s HTRAC All-Wheel Drive (AWD) drivetrain.
The SUV would have different convenience and safety features. Convenience features would include a power tailgate, supervision instrument cluster, Hyundai auto-link, wireless phone charger, puddle lamp, rear AC vents, and many others.
Safety features would include central power door locks, impact sensing door locks, immobilizer system, parking assist, ABS brakes, and backup camera.
