Hyundai Ioniq has been seen in Lahore, Pakistan quite recently. Immediately after Hyundai decided to set up the assembly plant in the country and launch vehicles in Pakistan, speculations started as to what Hyundai cars will be launched in Pakistan. In a ceremony, Hyundai displayed vehicles including Hyundai Tuscon, H-1, and H-100. Thus it is expected that these vehicles will be launched in Pakistan.

Recently Hyundai Ioniq has been spotted in Pakistan so there are chances that the car will be imported into the country.

All over the Hyundai Ioniq is available including in USA, Canada, South Korea, and India. Hyundai Ioniq comes in three variants that are hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric.

The compact Ioniq’s hybrid version was launched back in February 2016 and then the electric version was launched in July 2016. Then in 2017, the plug-in hybrid version was launched.

Globally the Ioniq Hybrid is equipped with a 1.6L Naturally Aspirated Atkinson-Cycle Inline-4 engine. It is coupled with a 6-speed dual clutch transmission that produces 104 hp and 265 Nm of torque.

Similarly, Hyundai electric version produces 118 hp and 291 Nm of torque. The vehicle directly competes with Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Bolt EV, Volkswagen e-Golf, Soul EV and Tesla Model 3.
