Pakistan Super League has made it to the provincial capital of Sindh, the city of lights—Karachi, Murad Ali Shah—the Sindh Chief Minister announced that Hyderabad would be the next city that would be hosting the nation’s most thrilling T20 league from next year.
While speaking at a conference the Chief Minister of Sindh said that the law and order situation of the Karachi city has improved tremendously. He further added that the needed arrangements for the PSL 3 have also been done and mentioned that the Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad would be hosting the Pakistan Super League matches next year that is 2019.
He said as per the local media reports that let our focus be now on the Niaz Stadium of the city—Hyderabad as the PSL matches of the year 2019 would be played there.
He mentioned that everyone has given their heart and soul to make PSL a reality. He added that a lot of efforts have been spent in making the Pakistan Super League a success.
In the meantime, the two qualifying teams Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United are all set to compete against each other today in the National Stadium of Karachi. Both the teams have landed in Karachi for the most thrilling yet iconic match. They would be doing a practice session today at the stadium.
Karachi has been all dolled up for the event. From lights to the posters, large billboards of the participating players are put up on the important thoroughfares and a strict security plan has been adopted, thus the city authorities have done everything to welcome the teams in a most hospitable way.
The government of Sindh has given the complete responsibility to monitor and take care of the security situation of the stadium to Rangers, who would remain active and on duty for ensuring security inside the National Stadium, while police officers and other law enforcement authorities would secure the stadium premises from outside.
