The government has shared a list of one hundred and eighty-four people who would be getting the civil awards on the 23rd of March (Pakistan Day) for their excellence in the various fields.
President Dr. Arif Alvi made the announcement of the civil awards on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day of the nation. The ones who would be presented with the awards by the president himself include singers, actors, poets, and soldiers as well as to the foreign nationals for their rendered services in the nation.
Among the people who would be getting Hilal-e-Imtiaz are Abida Parveen, Sadeqain Naqvi, and Ahmed Faraz.

Naeem Bukhari, who is an anchorperson would also be getting the Sitara-e-Imtiaz.
The Pride of Performance Award of the President would be presented to the religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel, singer Ali Zafar, Humayun Saeed, and Sakina Samo.
Sitara-e-Imtiaz would be presented to other prominent actors including Talat Hussain and Bushra Ansari.
On the other hand, the education minister of Sindh, Saeed Ghani has issued a warning against the early reopening of the schools in the province, as per the reports of local media.
