Huawei to Soon Launch 5G Technology in Pakistan – Fawad Chaudhary

Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary said that Huawei will soon launch 5G technology in Pakistan. Fawad Chaudhary in a press conference said, “5G tech will arrive, not arrive but it’s almost launched by Huawei in Pakistan.”

According to Fawad Ch, the India-China war is basically a technology war about launching 5G services.

Now even though our Minster for Science and Technology has made these statements, and Huawei is actually trying to expedite its efforts to  setup 5G infrastructure in Pakistan and India, the truth is that 5G will not be available in Pakistan before 2020. But Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that Pakistanis will enjoy the benefits of 5G ‘sooner than they think’.

5G will improve the mobile internet speed, support the peak data rates upto 300 Mbps and come up with a lot more benefits. The data speed will reach up to 1 to 10 Gbps. It would be 20 times faster than the current networks speed.

Fawad Chaudhry stated, “Movie, that otherwise takes 1.5 hours to download, can be downloaded within 3.5 seconds with 5G. It is not only the need of the hour, but it will also ease the daily lives and broaden the sphere of opportunities.”

He said that 5G technology will have a positive impact on smartphone, media, film and other industries.
