On Weibo, a new teaser appeared of Huawei Mate 20 Pro displaying a surfer in the sea with the square shaped box. The action was captured by the phone’s camera which means that the new Huawei Mate 20 Pro will have an option allowing users to capture clearer pictures underwater. Even if the phone is submerged, you can take good quality snaps.

Now we do know that the capacitive touchscreen does not perform inside the water so most probably users will have to use the volume buttons to take pictures through underwater mode. Furthermore, the power key can also be used to turn the camera on and off.

Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 pro will be the first smartphones that will be powered by Kirin 980 chipset. Compared to other devices Mate 20 pro will have a bigger notch. The front camera of the smartphone will be 24MP along with a Face ID technology. The notch of the phone will support the Face ID technology. According to the reports Mate 20 Pro will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The expected launch date of the phone is October 16th.
