The water crisis in Pakistan is aggravating as Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Malik Tahir Javaid said, “Research reports have warned that Pakistan will have absolute water scarcity by the year 2025 if water reservoirs are not built.” Development of dams is the only solution to overcome the water crisis in the country.
Supreme Court has ordered the Finance Division, Government of Pakistan in the Constitution Petition No.57 of 2016 to open an account under which people of Pakistan can donate to build dams in Pakistan.
How can the public Donate for Dam Construction in Pakistan?
Account Title: DIAMER BASHA AND MOHMAND DAM FUND-2018
Account No: 03-593-299999-001-4
People of Pakistan can donate money to this account and help Pakistan in this critical situation.

Those who want to deposit funds in the bank can donate in any branches of the State Bank of Pakistan, all branches of the National Bank of Pakistan and all other scheduled banks.
Donations will be received by local donors and international ones. In the foreign nations, the donations will be received at the Pakistan Missions and then sent to the State Bank of Pakistan.
Chief Justice Pakistan said, “It was said that ‘even the Supreme Court’s father’ cannot construct dams.” But now it is happening.
He said that he hopes that “the passion that was seen during the 1965 war would be visible again for the construction of dams”.
Dams are needed in Pakistan to overcome water shortage and improve the power generation supply in the country.
