You can now apply for an online driving license in Pakistan.
Driving License Issuance and Management System (DLIMS) has been introduced by Pakistan Information Technology Board (PITB). Through this procedure, driving license will be issued across 36 districts in Punjab.
The 36 districts are Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Chiniot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khanewal, Khushab, Lahore, Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Bahaud Din, Mianwali, Muazaffargarh, Multan, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Okara, Pakpattan, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, and Toba Tek Singh and Vehari.
In order to apply for an online driving license, your CNIC must have the permanent or temporary address of the district from which you are applying.
If you don’t have it you need to travel to the district of residence as written on your CNIC.
First Obtain a Learner’s License
Visit nearest Driving License Center
Take a copy of C.N.I.C with you along with a Ticket of Rs.60 from any Post Office.
Submit your documents & obtain a learner’s slip
Obtain Driving License
After 42 days have passed starting from the day you obtained learning license, visit nearest HBL branch
Pay the driving test fees and get a deposit slip
Pass the theoretical test by appearing before the relevant licensing officer
Pass the Driving Test
Receive the driving license at your home, through Post
In order to renew the license or obtain an international one, the applicant will have to submit documents in person
