Prime Minister Imran Khan is launching Ehsaas Scholarship Prgoramme for students. It is the largest undergraduate scholarship programme. The aim is to assist high-achievers that belong from low-income families.
In this article, we will tell our readers how they can apply for the Ehsaas scholarship programme.
Visit http://ehsaas.hec.gov.pk/hec-portal-web/auth/login.jsf to apply online. Along with this students can submit completed forms to the Financial Aid Office of the respective university.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the Ehsaas Programme is that students must be admitted on merit at any public sector university. Secondly, those students should apply that belong to poor families. Thirdly, the scholarship is applicable to public sector universities and non-profit private sector colleges & unis.
Once operational the program will further enhance access to higher education. Every year, 50,000 scholarships will be given to students. The scholarship will also cover tuition fees and stipends.
The last date to apply is 10th December 2019.
It is pertinent to mention here that 50 percent of the scholarships will be given to female students. It is encouraged that students with special needs especially those living in remote areas should apply.
